Hi, hope someone can clarify whether I need to have my own Trello account to view and work on my Client's Trello account or if we can both log in to their account. I know this is probably a silly question. Thanks
I would just have your client share the board in question with you. If you want to see all their boards I believe you would need to be a gold user to share more than one with the same person. I know its possible to log into the same account from multiple computers but I'm not sure that is allowed or suggested under the account agreement as I haven't studied it very well. I would think you would need to have different accounts and share the boards as designed.
Thanks Jim. I'd be setting up their account as they don't use Trello. It was my idea as we can start using it as a basic CRM amongst other things. I am just not sure if it matters whose account the boards are set up in - ie with their client details? I"m thinking of whether in the future when I am no longer working with them, can I delete the boards in my account... Can they just save them onto theirs? Is it that simple, do you know? Thanks

If you create it in their account and invite yourself to it, they control the settings of that board and can un-invite you to it at anytime. If you create it and they are invited you control that permission. They can copy the board and then do what they want with it if for some reason they are no longer your client anymore.

Easiest solution is for them to invite you to a board and you both have your own login - better for security purposes. And if it's because they have Business class, then you should be able to participate in any boards they are using Business class features on, even with your own login.

Makes sense. They don't Trello so I'd be setting it up for them. Think the free version is fine for now. Do you know if it matters from which account boards etc are set up in?
Thanks

I'd create it from the one you want to have the most control - probably your account. When you are invited to board, you wont have admin ability to close/delete a board, I believe on the creator can do that.
