Photos uploaded to Trello loose their .jpg extension

We've been using Trello for years to share photos from on-site to the office via 'job cards'. The photos have always loaded with a .jpg extension so that they can be viewed once downloaded from Trello in the office. In the last couple of days all the photos uploaded are missing the .jpg extension making them useless once downloaded. We've checked the settings on the phones taking the photos and they are fine. Any suggestions?

It seems you are running into a known issue affecting Android phones that is being tracked in the following bug report here: TRELLO-1085.

The good news is that our engineering team has already found the root cause and deployed a fix available on version 2025.5. Make sure you update your app once it's available in the Play Store.
