I'm going through an issue with Trello where the images I drop into a card in the description field are visible to me but no one else.
I've gone through troubleshooting by looking through the forum for solutions and have tried whitelisting Atlassian media, to clearing out cache, to many other experiments of converting the images to different sizes and files.
I see this is an ongoing issue over years but it still has not been solved. Does anyone have a solution on what works in 2025?
As of 2025, a reliable workaround for the issue where images added to Trello card descriptions are only visible to the uploader is to avoid pasting or dragging images directly into the description field. Instead, upload the image as an attachment to the card first, then copy the attachment's URL and insert it into the description using Markdown syntax. This ensures the image is hosted properly on Trello's servers with the correct permissions, making it visible to all collaborators. This method circumvents the inconsistent behavior tied to inline image uploads directly into the description.
Could you please share image(s) of what you are seeing vis-a-vis what others are seeing when they view the same card. It will help with troubleshooting.
