We have created a public trello board and are sharing the link, but Trello still asks people to register when they are accessing. It doesn't cost anything and ultimately is not a major issue - just an extra step we are hoping to avoid.
Is there any way that you can set the trello so people can literally just click on the link and go straight in?
Linked to this, we are hoping to possibly embed the trello within a web page - any suggestions on how we do this, again without the need for people to login to trello?
thanks
Kerry
Hi Kerry,
If the board is public visitors should be able to go straight in without logging in. You can double check the permissions of your board following the steps outlined here - https://help.trello.com/article/789-changing-the-visibility-of-a-board-to-public-private-or-team.
To embed Trello within a webpage there are directions here - https://developer.atlassian.com/cloud/trello/guides/embedding/embedding-boards/.
Hope this helps and good luck!
Danny
Thanks definitely helped - and I realised what I was doing wrong in sharing a link - I was sharing the link from the invite button, which then asks people to register for trello.
