Any update on 2way Card/Board Sync??

Sai March 11, 2022

Hi,

Just started using Trello and One thing we really need is the 2way card/Board Sync. I think its the most basic feature that is needed to work seamlessly.  Dosent make sence to pay extra for a power-up. I have seen the discussion in the community and people are requesting for this update from past 2 years.

Are we receiving an update on this?? if not we are forced to move away from Trello.

Currently the only way to copy information automatically from one card to another (or one board to another) automatically is Unito AFAIK.

@Sai

Reactivated my project for my two way sync between two partner cards. It handles

  • Labels
  • Checklists
  • Customfields
  • Attachments (also 3rd party attachments like Box, Trello card / board, images, pdf...etc)
  • Due Date and Time, Start Date, due Reminder etc
  • Name and description

It runs a FastAPI server using Trello webhooks. Original thoughts was to allow team to work independently and have some level of sync. Will considering adding more code for comments...comment is a bit tricky.

@Sai

The Trello client and webhooks will use an admin api key and token with card id as the idModel.
