Hi,
I am trying to send automated emails from Trello using CF called 'Contact email'.
Currently works with the CF field set as Text.
But i have many contacts and can't get the same automation to work if i make it a dropdown list.
Any tips?
TIA.
Hi @FBP Admin , can you share the rule you've created? Something like this should work:
when the due date is marked as complete in a card, send an email notification to "{{%Email}}" with subject "Card Complete" and message "...."
The rule should work regardless of custom field type (as long as the field is populated with an email address).

This isn't working for me, even as text. What am I doing wrong?
join the card,
rename the card to "{{%Priority}} - {{%Company}} - {{%Client Name}}",
send an email notification to "{{%RM-email}}" with subject "MessageTEST" and message "test",
remove the "Action list" checklist from the card,
and move the card to the top of list "Completed"
I get this error in the activity log: "No email address to send to."

Oop- disregard!
The case-sensitivity was getting me.
Thank you anyways!
