Goodafternoon,
I have a question and I hope you know the answer and can help me further. I am working on creating templates in Trello that I can share with customers/use as a low offer. I am just wondering the following: when I copy one of the boards to another workspace within my account, it does not include the background of the board.
How can I ensure that this is done by default? So that when the templates are copied and saved in their own Workspace, the background is retained?
I have also contacted someone who knows a lot about Trello. She indicates that she does not know the answer either because the background should be retained. She thinks it is a bug and advised me to contact you. I would like to hear from you and await your response.
Greetings, Marion
It could be that you are using custom backgrounds, which is a paid feature in your Premium workspace. If folks copy a Premium board to a free workspace, then they will not get the Premium features like custom backgrounds and custom fields. If you would like them to retain the board background in their free workspace, then choose one of the standard background (not a custom background)
Thank you Gaurav, for your response. I use the backgrounds from "Unsplash" and I thought they were all free to use. I have a free account also so i can not use custom background, right?
I think there is another reason for my problem, so hopefully you can help me further.
