Butler command isn't working

I created this Butler command that I thought would work, but it isn't. I created two different Cards with different due dates, but nothing. You can see my two test cards towards the bottom of the Computer list.

Admittedly, I have more trouble creating Butler commands than I should. It seems so easy to create simple commands, but I struggle.

 Any help is appreciated.

I have been working with someone from Trello on the issue and here's the answer. I was using a Custom Field for my due date and that's why it didn't work. Once I changed it to the Due Date that Trello cards all have, it worked fine.

I'll also give props to my CSM, Manu, who set up a test card on my Board and checked in with me two days later to make sure that it worked.

@Chip Morris hmmm normally this issue is due to people creating a card due in 1 minute, but you have an example that shows you're allowing 4 minutes that should be enough time for the trigger to take effect.

Have you looked in your command usage log? You might be out of commands, or you might be able to see that the commands either aren't executing OR that they're executing but there's some error being reported.

@Chip Morris if you have enterprise you get unlimited command runs, but not unlimited operations:

The commands you've shown are correct, so the only way to really debug this is through elimination. So for example, can you get anything to happen on a due date in any board? Can you say "The moment a care is due post comment 'due now'" or something similar? Try setting the due date like 10 minutes in the future, and see if you can get it to trigger at all.

If you can't, then that's a simple use case you should be able to create a Loom video for and send it directly to Trello support.

If you can, then you can start trying to build on that until you can see where it goes awry.

Did you test this by setting a due date in the future and allowing time to pass naturally? As Due Date Rules are not retro-active, and so will not trigger off of a due date being set in the past. (there's a warning banner when you are choosing the Due Date rule's Trigger)

I tested this but with "the moment it is due" trigger instead, setting a due date 5 minutes in the future, and everything worked properly. Its still possible that there's something wrong with that rule specifically, but its more likely you've tripped over the retro-active stuff, so thought I'd check first.

Yes, I did create the card with enough time in advance because I knew that it doesn't work retroactively.

I also created on to move "the moment it is due" and it didn't work. It's 12:55 and the card hasn't moved.

:( hmm.. I've got nada sorry. Set up the rule exactly the same and it worked on my end..

Alternatively, chuck the Due Date Rule entirely, and try out a Scheduled/Calendar Rule instead? It operates by checking all cards at a specific time instead, but that might still work for you?

Every day at 5am, Move all cards due this week to the bottom of list "Due This Week"

You can play around with the different dropdowns/filters for more/different options.

Hopefully that's useful, as I'm stumped why the Due Date Rule doesn't work.
