I am looking for a way to filter the cards on my Trello board so that only ones that have a certain item ticked on the checklist will be displayed. Is there a way to do this? For example if I have a ticklist of *Stage 1 complete*, *Stage 2 Complete* and *Stage 3 Complete*, is there a way of filtering to make only cards that have *Stage 3 Complete* ticked be shown?
@Shelly Ryde you could create some automation that adds a label when a checklist is completed and then filter cards by cards that have a specific label!
@Brittany Joiner Thanks for that idea but that doesnt really work in my case. I want to be able to filter for just one specific item on the tickbox and not for the cards that have them all ticked. Is there a way to do that?

@Shelly Ryde same principle, you can use automation to check when a specific item is checked in a checklist and then add a label to the card and filter by that label.

@Brittany Joiner Thanks for the idea, I set up the automation and it is now really beneficial. However, when I did a filter for the label that I wanted, a whole bunch of random cards that shouldn't have that label came up with the label on it for some very strange reason.
Is there a way to solve this?

@Shelly Ryde sounds like the automation is probably more broad than it should be. I'd have to see the rule to give a better diagnosis, but i are you saying when any item is checked? maybe you need to be more specific about which one is checked. or when it's checked in a specific checklist, or even on cards in a specific list or something
