Can't log into Trello from my iPhone

I have had a Trello account for a long time which I haven't used for some time. Now I have had to invent a new password which has worked fine on the computer. When using Trello again on my iPhone it sends me to sign in and I choose Sign in with my Apple ID. It uses my face as ID then I get a message saying We could not find an account with this email address, the address I have been using for the past 20 years. What do you advise?

Two things:

1. Apple sign in can actually use a fake email address for privacy purposes. Apple lets you choose whether you make the account with a real email or not. 
2. I’m not sure if you didn’t sign up with Apple ID in the beginning that you can use Apple ID to log in. I think you need to use your email and the password you use on web (even if the email is also the same email as your Apple ID）
