It seems like I can only filter by either color OR by due date attributes, not both. i.e. when I filter by the green colored cards that works, but then if I also check that I want to filter by cards that are due in the next day, then nothing shows up, which leads me to believe it's filtering for ALL criteria rather than ANY.
Is there any way to change this? What I want to do is show all the cards that are green, AND all the cards that are due in the next day, though none of those cards will be green.
@Manon Soubies-Camy @Lindsey_Ross search modifiers don't work in filters, only the search.
The reason it looks as though it's working is because the card that's due actually has the word due in the title.
All board level filters are "AND" and not "OR", however the search is "OR" rather than "AND".
So what you can do to see a list of cards that match "due this month with label green" on a given board is:
board:"board name" is:open due:month label:green
will show you a list of cards on a given board that are not archived that are due within the next month OR have the green label.
You can save searches if you have a paid plan, you can also open the search results in a new tab and copy the URL which is what I do anyway even when I have Trello gold because there are no saved searches on the iOS app.
I just create a card called "Saved Searches" and link to each of my saved searches from there if I need them so that I can access them from iOS devices.
Hi @Iain Dooley,
The reason it looks as though it's working is because the card that's due actually has the word due in the title.
That explains a lot - thanks! :)

Thanks for clarifying the difference between the filter and the search terms--and saving the search as a card does seem like a great workaround for iOS!

Hello @Lindsey_Ross,
Is the below query not working on your boards?
due:day OR label:green
I can successfully filter by due date or color on my boards:
Hope this helps!

No, I think that's the same thing I was doing. That only brings up cards that have BOTH criteria (due today, and green). I want to show all cards that have EITHER criteria. i.e. I made a test card that's due today, but with no color label. I want a query that will show this card, AND all the cards I've labeled green.

Hi @Lindsey_Ross,
Hm I think it is working, check the second column in my screenshot: you can see both a green card and a yellow (i.e., not green) card due today.

I see, I may have just been using the wrong syntax. If I say "due: this month or label: green" then it does seem to work for me.
Now what I'm wondering is, is there a way to save this filter combo so that I can easily shortcut to it? Say if at the beginning of each week I want to hit this filter without having to type that whole thing in?
