Hi all--
I used this article to set up a cascade so that when I add an item to 'Milestone' list it auto copies the card and adds It to the 'Cascade/Card...' List, and links the two together. What I'm trying to figure out is how to have the due date changes on the original card ('milestone' list) updated in the copied card.
I'm testing this in one board, but the ultimate plan is to have milestones roll from several boards into a central place for high-level oversight. Thanks!
Hi @Rachael Woodward
Sorry, what I told you last night was wrong...I was very tired and was talking nonsense...
There is a limitation in the Trello automation that means you can't directly sync a due date from 1 card to another with a single step.
However, I have just this second released an article describing how you can do this. Its semi-advanced but I hope I have written it in a way you can follow.

Thank you!! I've been swamped but going to give this a try ASAP. I see you broke it down in really clear and simple steps-- appreciate it!

You can use the following automations:
when the due date is set in a card in list "Milestone", find the first card linked in attachments and set the due date to "{sourcecardduedate}"
and
when the due date is moved in a card in list "Milestone", find the first card linked in attachments and move the due date by the same amount of time

Thank you, Mike! I'm having trouble finding this part "
set the due date to "{sourcecardduedate}"
Not seeing that automation as an option-- I see it as 'on the date in custom field ___' but not the due date field itself. Mind showing me where that is?
