Hey guys, what's up?
We are looking for a solution to mirror the cards in a bidirectional way.
Previously, Trello briefly mentioned about developing the feature, but I couldn't find anything related.
I searched for other solutions on the market, but, we didn't move forward for a few reasons.
Unito - High cost ($$$)
Trello MirrorSync via Github - No instructions for deployment (https://github.com/xu2xulim/Trello-MirrorSync)
I need to update cards on different boards.
Thanks in advance for the help, thank you very much! :)
I wrote the MirrorSync to validate and create an alternative for mirroring and sync using Trello native webhooks and api. I created it on a serverless platform and plans to make an app that will be deployed to a personal cloud just like this app for curated Trello automation services which you can use with Trello automation http request.

@milynnus , congratulations on the development, very nice!
The link https://dojo.hipposite.com/space-bulter is offline, it was not possible to access it.
Is it possible to share the instructions on how I can run your application?
Thank you all, satisfaction!

I created a Data Space account > Installed Space Butler > Included the key and token credentials, but, I got stuck at this part.
Can you support me with this?

Space Butler, as the name suggests, it is for add on services that you use with Trello automation. It is not for MirrorSync. I am considering whether Mirrorsync should be moved to Deta Space as an app.
For Space Butler, the documentation of the services can be found on the hipposite pages.

Excellent solution, congratulations on your commitment and dedication.
As we talked, the solution is working, thank you for sharing your knowledge with us.

I am glad hear that. As mentioned this is for beta test and the app will be released on Deta Space when they launch the platform planned for this year.
All the credentials and data does not leave your personal cloud. Do purge the webhooks prior to deleting the instance of the app by using /purge path.

If you're willing to get your hands dirty with some Trello automation, you can build out rules that copy cards and link them together and then create rules that when x changes on a card, it finds the first card in the attachments (aka linked card typically) and makes the related change to it. Requires a bit of work and know how to get it going, and definitely depends on how complicated you're trying to make it but can be done!

Brittany Joiner, thank you for your support and quick response.
I believe this option would not be as interesting due to the amount of automation required and level of constant monitoring from Butler.

Brittany, I am interested in what you are suggesting. I am working on a trello process for our company and I would like to be able to mirror cards as they move into a production board. Basically, I want to mirror a card so our office locations still have it on their board when it goes to the lab board for production. That way they simply have insight in to the progress of the card while in production so they can answer any questions a client might have. Seems rather simple, but I am in the early stages of mapping the process completely. What are your initial thoughts?

Could you help us?
I believe I will need your help as to the steps and how I will make these adjustments.
I am willing to put my hand to the wheel and dedicate some time to this implementation.
Thank you in advance for your answer.

@[deleted] ayeah i believe that sounds about right and doable!
@[deleted] and @Jonatas Cavalcante Check out this youtube video I made - it shows how to sync cards and checklist items, and it might help you get more ideas and will demonstrate the concept between cards. (It's actually even simpler to just sync data back from cards - all you need to do is link them together then use the cascade action to find the first linked card and perform the next action on there.)
You'll also want to use Butler variables to reference info from the first card to input to the second card.
If you get stuck, definitely post in the community and show what you've done and what's not working and folks in here will be happy to help debug, and you can always tag me if you don't get a response!

I just started researching this today for my company. It is pretty crazy that the current external solutions that just allowing mirroring cost 2x what Trello costs in its entirety.
I would rather pay Atlassian Trello for a solid mirroring solution than a 3rd party service that monetizes in such an aggressive way.

One of our engineers wrote a solution based on some of the other information in this string. Based on a lot of features that are unique from board to board, it made sense for us to build our own. It probably took a days worth of work and we are using Firebase as our back-end.
It is currently working flawlessly and so much better than the two paid options. Syncs happen instantaneously and it is now free for us.
