I have a happy public Trello board for my podcast where my listeners can comment and see everything happening behind the scenes. This part is amazing!
I also have volunteers who help with specific episodes (cards). All my searching showed no way to limit editing to card membership or labes or anything tied to a card. This has proven difficult as many volunteers have never worked with Trello and have moved or edited things they weren't meant to.
For such a tiny detail, I feel there's a quick fix we haven't considered.
@Khayra BundakjiBasically, Trello permissions are board wise. You can give some users view/observer permissions, and others full permissions.
However you can't give card level permissions in Trello.
Do observers have ability to edit a card they’re a member to?
