Copying entire lists of cards via automation

Hey Team,

Embarrassingly simple question here: I can't figure out how to copy all cards in a list to another list within the same board with a due date trigger. 

I'm in live events and I'd like to be able to set a date for a show on a single card and then have all of the open cards in our various production stage lists be automatically assigned x days before the show.

Most of the guides I've found online say its possible but have a different UI and options than I am offered - Currently using the free tier while we figure out if Trello is right for our team so am I hitting up against a paywalled feature or something? I've already hit the "advanced" toggle and found the tools to filter for specific cards. I just can't find any list operations beyond "sorting"

Yep - looking for an automated solution.

I'd like to set a date on a specific card and then have it be the trigger to move an entire list of cards into my "active tasks" list 7 days before the due date I set.

By "automatically assigned" I mean moving all cards inside each list to our "active tasks" list but I'd settle for it automatically assigning due dates to every card contained in each list based on the same rule for the entire list.

1. Open your Trello board.

2. Click on “Automation” in the top menu (or the robot icon).

3. Go to Rules tab and click “Create Rule”.

4. Set the Trigger:

   • Choose: “when a card is added to list [Your List Name]”

     (Pick the specific list where the action should happen.)

5. Add an Action:

   • Select “Set due date”

   • Choose a time relative to the trigger, e.g.:

     • “in 1 day”

     • “on the same day at 5:00 PM”

     • “in 3 working days”

6. Click Save.

Ok, so if I understand correctly, doing this will only change the due date of the specific card I've moved to a new list. That isn't helpful.

What I'd like to do is:
Assign a due date to 1 card.
When it is a week before this due date, ALL of the cards on the "Show Week" list are moved to the "Active Tasks" list
