Create a special comment with butler after an action or at a daily scheduled time

Hello,
as the butler is integrated into trello, I cannot make an order that I used before with a simple text command here: https: //butlerfortrello.com/butlerbot.html (the website is no longer accessible)

My orders were:
- "when a card is moved from the" EN COURS "list, for each member of the card, post a comment" more! @ {matchedinitials} {cardhoursinpreviouslist} enter the time in {triggerhourspreviouslistname} "
and:
- "every day at 7.14pm, for each card on the" EN COURS "list, post a" more! "comment. @BLE {cardhoursinlist} "

Could you help me? me to do the same with the "new" command editor, please?

@Benoît LECRIOUX I don't think you can do either of those things in the new Butler, but here are the Trellinator equivalents:

Merci pour votre réponse. En faisant quelques recherches hier j'ai effectivement trouvé vos infos sur le Trellinator qui semble très intéressant! Il faut que je prenne du temps pour bien tout comprendre mais ça pourraît être une alternative à Butler pour ce que j'ai besoin de faire. le problème c'est que je ne suis pas codeur et je crains que ça dépasse mes compétences. Quand je prendrais le temps d'étudier cela, puis-je vous recontacter?

@Benoît LECRIOUX the site has documentation and there's a quickstart guide to get you set up, then I have tonnes of examples I've provided free of charge on the Atlassian community:

If there's something that goes wrong during setup etc. the best place to ask is here and tag me in the question, then everyone gets the answer.

But beyond a certain point I charge for writing commands, you can see the link in my bio. Migrating a typical Butler command is about A$50 so it's pretty cheap to get me to do it for if you'd rather not learn, or you can hire someone on Upwork to run through the setup and do the coding for you also since it's open source!

As Butler has been bought by Trello, the Butler Bot no longer works, as I'm sure you're finding out!

it might be useful to look through the help page on Butler Variables (if you haven't already) to see what Butler can do now!

Cela fait un moment que j'ai constaté que le Butler Bot ne fonctionne plus mais j'arrivais à conserver mon fonctionnement avec mes anciens tableaux. Mais je me retrouve bloqué pour en recréer de nouveaux équivalents.

J'ai déjà vérifié les nouvelles fonctionnalités et je le trouve Butler moins puissant et surtout plus bridé qu'avant et c'est bien dommage! Avec la suppression de la version Gold, ça fait 2 changements négatifs pour moi. J'utilise Butler pour quantifier le temps que passe mon équipe sur les différentes tâches et c'est une source d'informations très riche et importante pour moi. Je vais continuer de chercher pour tenter de recréer une partie des automatisations que j'avais.

lorsque je veux créer une règle liée à un mouvement de carte je peux ajouter un commentaire, mais quand je veux planifier une commande tous les jours à une certaine heure, cette action n'est pas possible. Est-ce une limite de Butler ou est-ce que je me trompe?

I see what you mean, it's not possible with Butler to have these two rules together, there's no way to do it. I agree, it's a shame!

Maybe Trellinator might be the best plan?

@Benoît LECRIOUX yep, the Butler Power up removed tonnes of functionality from Butler Bot, and I think the version that's now standard in all Trello boards now has even less functionality than the first version of the Power Up. I created Trellinator to migrate all the Butler commands I had written for my clients over to a new platform, I migrated something like 1,600 commands in total :)
