Since now (without any warning received at least to me) the custom Fields option is no longer free...what are my solutions for adding dates to cards?  A flow-board for a process needs at least due dates for milestones....I work for a state government so purchase is not an easy option - budgets...:(

(Re: custom fields, we sent everyone an email about all the changes during our Standard launch. We also published a blog post. And we put a pop up in app notification into the app)

I do not understand why I did not receive any notification nor was there any "splash or banner" on my boards that are currently being used...I have a free account...is that why??  The ONLY email preference I turned off was "marketing" - i never opted out of newsletters.

++ On using start and due dates. I find that's a helpful way to keep track of most dates, and you can also include more details about dates in the the description if you need to.

I believe Trello has some offers for nonprofits that you may qualify for if you're wanting to upgrade!
