Deleted Card Repeater Still Creates Cards

Hi everyone,

I created a "Test Recurring" card and added a Card Repeater power up to it.

Once done with the testing, I deleted the card with the repeater on it but it still creates a card on schedule.

I checked the activity section and at the bottom, you will see the origin of the card and a link to the original card to which you added the Card Repeater power up.

When I clicked on the original card link, I got redirected to a page saying that the card cannot be found. Meaning, the card has been permanently deleted.

I'm confused as to why it keeps generating a card on schedule even though the original card with the repeater power up on it has been deleted.

Thank you so much!

Hi there, welcome to the community!

That's unexpected. Let's try a few things to troubleshoot the issue.

  • When you click the "Repeats" button at the header, do you see any cards listed there? It might help us identify if the repeater is still active somewhere else.

  • Could you please click the "Power-Ups" button at the top, then select "Card Repeater," and go to "Settings"? From there, try removing your personal settings and disable the Card Repeater power-up completely.

Let us know if this resolves the issue or if the problem persists.

Hi Erick,

Thank you so much for your response.

1. I don't see the recurring task under "REPEATS"

2. I removed my personal settings but I haven't disable the power up yet as I still use it for other recurring tasks. This is just an isolated case.

I'll see if the issue persists after what I did.

Cheers!
