I edited a card accidentally in two tabs (Chrome, MacBook Pro). Once I realized I was editing it in two tabs, I very carefully took all the changes in text from "Tab 1" and put them into "Tab 2" and saved the changes there and closed "Tab 1" without saving changes. I closed Tab 2, also. Later, I reopened that card in the same browser and Trello somehow refreshed the contents of Tab 1 which did not have my complete or latest changes, so I lost a bunch of work from writing the text of that tab.
Why? Trello must be saving unsaved changes somehow and not making the connection to when the same card was updated later in a different tab. Frustrating loss of text. Previous contents should be saved in History at the very least.
@Thomas Packer Most likely both tabs were using the same session and Tab 1 was a draft that overrode tab 2. I do agree that it is odd that tab 2 was not saved but it would have to do with how sessions are handled. Maybe if this occurs in the future you end up adding the same content in both tabs and save them.
