How do I only see boards on my default home page

How can I minimize the left hand menu of Trello? Please see screenshot. I only want to see my Boards when I click on Trello Home.

Don't think you can or ever could.

This seems to be your /u/username/boards view showing all your boards regardless of workspace. There's also a view per workspace showing only those particular boards, but they both have this interface.

That left column would allow you to quickly navigate between workspaces, user management or settings, or find your Home view, where tasks and updates get listed.

Once you are in a board, there's the Board switcher, which offers something more akin to what you'd want, but not quite.

In my thinking, because of these different approaches (your boards, workspaces, tasks) I think Trello would not work well if this sidebar wasn't there. Team have hinted this may need streamlining and I agree, but for now this would be Trello standard.
