How do I recover cards that are no longer visible in a list, but not archived?

On one of my boards my lists have no visible cards.  Under the title of the list it simply states 16 cards. I  dropped something on my keyboard when working on a board and this happened. Does anyone have any ideas as to what happened and how I can recover my cards?

Hi @Tarmala Caple, you currently have a filter enabled on the board with 0 results, and clearing out that filter will show all of your cards again.

While in the board, tap 'x' on your keyboard or click the X next to the "Filter" button to remove it.
