The CSV file doesn't contain the comments of a board and the JSON doesn't appear to either.
Hi @Alvaro_Sassano ,
You can export your boards by visiting the board then click Show Menu -> More -> Print & Export
OR
Visit the below link and install the plugin then you will able to export in different formats!

Just bought this extension. Contrary to what the promotional material says, it DOES NOT have the ability to export comments. And no answer when asked for refund.

How can comments be copied when I copy a board? Because I tried it and it can't. Thank you

You can even copy entire boards! Open the board's menu, then click "More" and choose "Copy Board." When a board is copied, we'll copy cards and their descriptions. We don't copy comments or card activity, however. If you want a "full copy" of the board, the best bet is to copy each list individually and move it to your new board. You might also check to see if you want to change the board admins, or move the board to a new team, instead.

Hi @Soumyadeep Mandal Thank you!! Is there a way to backup everything (dashboard, lists, cards, comments, activity, etc.) in a more automatic and secure way? with a Power-up, direct from Trello, some script, whatever ... Thanks

Unfortunately, the Board Export Power-up does not export comments currently. It is however on our backlog and due for our next batch of work for this Power-Up.
Thanks,
Dan

Hello @Dan Ivory , has there been any development on account of the backlog feature you are mentioning on your comment from a year ago? I am working in a consultancy company and we are currently switching ticketing tools for one of our projects.
Is there currently a way to export all tickets + their commenatry?

Yes! We have just released this feature so you can now export comments and activity. They will appear on new tabs in your Excel file.
Check out this video for a demo (start at 3mins if you want to skip to the comments part)

That's just a blatant lie. I just bought this extension and it DOES NOT have the ability to export comments. Quite surprising to see this kind of marketing technique... And no answer when asked for refund.

This seems like an important feature . Atlassian, why have you not implemented it yet?

@Paul If you want a more customised backup you could follow these instructions to back up with Google Apps Script:
