How to auto assign members to cards created from board template?

I have a board template with cards and assigned members. I would like to copy that board and have the cards present with members assigned.

It currently copies the cards but not the members assigned to them in the template.

What's the best way to go about getting the members assigned automatically based on their assignment in the template?

Hi @Matt Lee - template boards shouldn't allow the ability to assign members to cards, and all members are removed from cards when a board is created from a template. If you wish to auto-assign users to cards, you should look into automating this, e.g. automating it by assigning a user to a card based on the name of the card.
