Hi
I created a card for each customer with customer details
Now I want to create a button inside the customer card
Clicking on it will create another card that includes a link back to the customer card
And in the customer card a link to the card I created
Hey @RaniPlayzone
This is possible with Butler :)
Here's what you need to get to
You need to create a Card button, so
1. Click Automation on the top of your board, then "Create Card Button"
2. Then use Add/Remove and use the top option (shown here)
And you can edit the card name. The {card name} variable will take the name of the original card and use it for the new card. You can add more to this eg I added "2".
3. then "Cascade" to link the two cards together (the last option on here)
And all being well you will get this when you click the card button on card 1.
Hope that helps!
Dan
Great, thanks !
Now how do I automatically (by clicking this button) close the cards I am on and open the new card?
And in addition the card it produces does not inherit the name of the card from which it is manufactured simply register a "new card"...?

@RaniPlayzone You're welcome!
1. To close the card check this box when you create you're card button. I don't think you can auto open the new card though.
Another option is to not check that box, but when you have clicked the card button then look for this newly created link, this will send you right to the new card.
2. For the naming of the new card. If you just want it to be something generic then replace the {card name} with something else eg New Card.
Cheers,
Dan
