I just signed up for Trello Business Class with two business class team members to the board. I then invited two guests. One guest said that they forwarded the invite to other individuals who can use the link originally provided to gain visibility to the board. How do I prevent this from happening? I want to relegate access to people that I invite.
Hey Jeff
I just tried this:
1) Add a user to my board
2) Added user forwarded email to another email address
3) Created new account for that email address that it was forwarded to
Result: "Board not found" when clicking the link from the original invite.
So I am curious how this happened for you. Could they have added the user to the board, rather than forwarded them the original invite email? Because the way it worked for me is the way it should work- the invite should be only good for the email address it was originally sent to.
Unless you mean "gain visibility" as in- they can SEE the board but they don't become a member. If that's the case- is the board PUBLIC?
Thank you for the reply, Matthew. I have the board marked as "Private". I did have "Anybody" marked for the Team Setting "Inviting Team Members to the Board". If I changed that to "Only Team Members", would that have any effect?
