How to set reminders x-days/hours before the due date of a task item in a checklist ?

Hello everyone, 

What I want to implement is the following, but I can't seem to find a way to do it on Trello : 

- Within each card, I have checklists with items to do 

- Each item has a due date and an assigned member

- I want to be able to send a reminder to the assigned member for example 2 days before the task is due

I have already done that with the due dates of the card by using the Dates automation in Butler, however I can't seem to find a similar thing in the level of due dates of items

Do you know if that is possible ? if not, is there any workaoaround ? 

ps : the reminder can be a built-in Trello notification or an autoamtic comment posted to the card, either way is fine

I had to built an alert system with webhook that will track the due dates separately and use @username  or @card for notification. Search this community using “item alert” you will find more information on it.

Hi @milynnus I looked it up but didn't understand much of it as I don't have a technical background
