I have lost my account

asbl May 23, 2025

Hello everyone.

I tried to log in with my email and password and Atlassian couldnt recognize my email. And I had to create a new account for my email. Now it seems like my previsous data was lost.

I had my PhD plan in Trello and now, that data is lost.

This should not be able to happen and I am extremely dissapointed with this company. I will never use Trello again.

Hi @asbl ,Welcome to the community!

I’ve reviewed your account associated with the email address [hotmail.com], and it appears to have been created recently. Could you please confirm if you’ve used a different account in the past, perhaps your work email or another email address? If so, kindly share the username and I’ll look into it further for you.

Additionally, do you have a link to the board you used to access before? This will help me investigate the issue more effectively.

Looking forward to your response!

Thank you

Hi Again.

It's this email-account (the hotmail), that I have used in the past. I havent logged in since february and somehow, the system couldn't recognize my account when I tried last week.

So I tried to create a new account with the same email-address, but my board still wasn't there. (I now I fear that the new account have overwritten the old).

Unfortunately, I cannot access the board, since Trello asked me for my login information before I could enter the board. And then I went and created the new account.

Best from me.

Hi @asbl

I just wanted to ask if the boards in question is part of a paid subscription. If it is, I can request additional details for you.

Also, could you please confirm how you used to log in? Was it with an email and password, or through another method such as Microsoft, Slack, or Google?

By any chance, do you have the board link bookmarked in your browser or saved in your browser history? If so, could you share it with me? Additionally, I wanted to check if you have any active logged-in sessions on other devices, such as a mobile phone, tablet, etc.

Thank you

Hi again,

Thank you for your effort. I appreciate it.

I think I used to log in with my e-mail, I made an account in 2020 and I have gotten a welcome-email there, so I think that has been my account.

I havent subscribed at any point, unfortunately.

No, unfortunately not. No bookmarks or the like. I used the microsoft app for trello when I used the program on my computer (at least in this past year). I just tried to enter my Trello-app on the phone and I couldnt enter. It displayed this message: "You have been logged out because your token was invalidated. Please re-login."

Hi @asbl ,

If you used the same account, you might have some Trello-related emails in your inbox. Could you check if you find any notification emails from Trello that include a board or card link?

Also, are you using the free version of Trello before , or  the boards in question part of a paid subscription?

Thanks

Hi again.

I do have an old link, do you have a work email I can send it to?

I am both using the free version today and have only used the free version in the past.

Best from me.

Hi @asbl ,

I have sent you an email to provide the old link. Please reply to me on my work email. I am not sharing my email address directly here due to PII concerns.

I look forward to your response.
