Is it possible to click on a list so that it minimises all the cards?

I want to be able to just focus on one list of things in my workflow and no see other lists till I'm focused on them.

Right now that is not an available option. If you wish to focus on certain lists, the following 3rd party extension might be helpful. It will allow you to hide lists, so you can focus: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/trellists-trello-lists-ma/dgnlcodfeenegnifnpcabcclldoceeml
