When I'm visualizing an attached PDF, I can only scroll up/down, but not right/left. Is there a way to do this? It's important for my team to be able to view wide PDF archives without the need to donwload. Thanks in advance!
Hi Gonzalo!
Hmm, I don't believe we have a built-in way to scroll sideways on attached PDFs, but I did a bit of testing and I'm not seeing the width being truncated or cut-off.
It looks like Trello is shrinking the PDF so the whole thing fits to width, then allows vertical scrolling. Is that what you're seeing, or is part of your PDF being cut off?
I haven't been able to replicate that quite yet, but I in my browser pressing Shift and then scrolling with my mouse wheel scrolls left and right, but again, I haven't been able to see that yet in a PDF. I'll keep an eye out for your reply!
Hi Cody! Thanks for the reply!
As you said, part of the PDF is being cut off. Here´s a shot:
As you can see, the right part of the PDF is out of view. I can go down perfectly, but not sideways.
If I zoom out the hole webpage I can see the whole document, but of course it´s impossible to read:
Shift + scroll doesn't work for me... don´t know why.
Maybe some plug-in or browser extension...
Thanks again and best regards!

Aha! I see what you mean. I tried uploading a horizontal PDF and I'm seeing the same thing.
Not the best news, but I'm not seeing a way to scroll sideways either. For now, downloading the PDF is the best option, though I recognize that adds a lot of clutter.
Another option would be to upload that PDF to a Confluence page, and use the Embed PDF Macro. This Confluence macro includes the ability to scroll left and right.
You could then link to that Confluence page from your Trello card by pasting the link into the description, and share that Confluence page will people on your team.
I'll mention this to the team as well, thank you for letting us know!
