Numbers in cards

Hi there,

In the description on a card, I have started the text off with a number, e.g. "4. Hello...."

But, when I save the description, the "4" is replaced with a "1". This happens across all cards. If I open up the description to edit it, the "4" reappears!

Any thoughts?

Hi Rui,

What you're seeing is expected behavior. Trello uses Markdown to format its cards, and it tries to be smart about any list structured with the "#. Item" format.

To keep Markdown from auto-numbering your list, add a "\" between the number and the period in the list:
