Permanently deleting a card

Someone on my team created a reoccurring card that populates a new card every day. Each time we have to delete it. I wish there were a clear and easy way to delete the entire reoccurrence. I cannot find a way to do this so that card NEVER pops up again. We no longer need it and it's tiring and wasteful to have to delete each singular one over and over again. Help!

Archiving the card will not stop it from repeating. Only deleting a card, moving it to another board, or canceling the repeat on the original card will stop it from repeating.

If you have a copied version of the original card, you can track down the original from the activity of the copied card. The card will be created as a “copied” event, and clicking the title of the “copied from” card will bring you to the original card.

Hello Matthew,

Thank you for this information and assistance. I had an intern create this months ago, and I don't know how she set it up. So far, I am still having trouble. There is no "copied from" anywhere on the card. Clicking the title doesn't work or take me anywhere; it just allows me to edit the name of the card. Can you please give me more direction? I don't know how to track down this original card.

Once you have opened the card (i.e. clicked on it), you can see a right hand side menu on the card.  At the bottom is "share and more ...", click on this and you can delete (at the bottom) the card in the next step.

That should stop the card from repeating.

Dear Marc, 

Unfortunately, that does not delete the repeat. It only deletes that one card, and then more cards populate the next day. I just deleted about 10 of them, and I know that they will be back there again, because that is what I have been doing for months now. I cannot find where to permanently delete the card. 

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!
