Repeat a task on the planner or calendar

I want to repeat cards in the planner / calendar. How can I do that? I know how to repeat cards, but I don't know how to do it in the planner. Also, is there a way to automate adding a task to the planner when you set a due date?

1: Currently, Planner does not support Power-Ups, which means the Repeat Cards Power-Up isn’t available for use at this time with Planner.
