Sending completed inbox items to board archive automatically

I'm returning to Trello (premium) after a few years not using it and like the new Inbox feature.

However, often with tasks that have accumulated in my inbox I just want to mark them  as completed straight away. However, Inbox items auto-archive when completed and seem to have their own archive. More to the point, while I thought I might be able to set up an automation that sent them to a "Done" list on my board (as opposed to some of the boards operated by colleagues) , it seems automations don't seem to apply to the Inbox.

I just want to have one place where I can see all my completed items where they go when I mark them as complete.

Is there anything I can do?

Thanks

Matt

Hi @Matt Page  , Welcome to the community!

When a card is marked as completed in the Trello Inbox, it auto-archives. I'm afraid that, at the moment, there isn't a way to turn off the auto-archiving.

We have an open suggestion request with our product team to add the ability to turn off the auto-archiving feature, so you can sort the cards in the inbox with a filter. Here is the suggestion request where you can go and vote for it.

Also, for inbox automation, we have an open suggestion request which you can find here:

Thank you !

Thank you. I've voted and added a comment. I think it's exacerbated by the fact that the "complete" check circle is hidden until you hover over so numerous times I've just gone to click on a card only for it to "disappear" and have to be retrieved.
