Hi. I'm looking at using Trello to store locations for difficult to find/access delivery locations in the UK, ie. locations which cannot be identified via postcode alone. It appears that Trello won't:

  • accept any coordinates when specifying a location (Google coordinates, map point codes, lat/long etc.)
  • allow you to view a map and set the location manually
  • drag and drop an existing location

I can add a link to the location from Google maps, but this does not display directly within a card, or within the overall map for the board.

Any ideas?

Copy the plus code instead of copying the coordenates and it will work.

Wow, I hope you're right! But at the risk of appearing (or being) dense, what's a plus code?

LATER:

Never mind. I found the instructions in Google Maps help:

On your computer, open Google Maps.

  • Click the location where you need a Plus Code.
  • At the bottom, in the info box, click the coordinates. For example:  53.339688, -6.236688.
  • A panel will open on your screen.
  • To copy a location’s code, click the Plus Code Plus Code.

Has a solution to this been found yet? I also need to use a drag and drop or coordinate feature as mycard locations do not have addresses.

I have the same question, and would love it if someone would tell us how to locations by, for example, latitude-longitude. Trello is using Google Maps, and you can do this on Google Maps, so the question is how to cause Trello to accept such coordinates and pass them on in usable form to Google Maps.
