Showing color chips only

Is there any way to hide hex code and show color chips only?

For example, when I type #CC2041, it will show like this:

Is it possible to show color chips only without showing #CC2041?

The hex color codes formatting only works in the way described in the Trello Markdown documentation, which includes the display of the hex values.

Thanks for your reply. That means we cannot use the color chips in other ways.
