Single Board guests asking to join my workspace

Hello, recently new to Trello. I have a single board and want several members of our team to see lists and cards in just that one board. I've been able to invite 8 of them, two of those invited have come back and requested to join the workspace. I receive this message when reviewing the invites:

"These people have requested to join this Workspace. Adding new Workspace members will automatically update your bill." 

My questions: 

1. Why would they feel the need to ask to join the workspace, rather than the single board? 
2. If I accept their invitation, is my bill going to increase? (I don't want that, I want them as single-board, non-paying guests)

Hi Boni,

It sounds like your team members might not realise they can be added as free guests to just the one board. Or, they might need access to more than one board, in which case they become "multi-board guests" and are billed like regular members.

Clarify with your team which boards they need access to! If it's just one, you can add them as free single-board guests.

thank you! that's what I thought. I'll just communicate with the board guests to confirm they only need access to the one board. Thanks!
