Sort by... does not work

Ladina G July 14, 2025

I want to sort my list by creation date so that the most recent card appears first.

Unfortunately, nothing happens when I execute the command. (Firefox on Mac)

Hi @Ladina G ,

Welcome to the community!

I'm unable to replicate the issue on my end. Could you please try executing the command in an incognito window to see if the problem persists? If it still occurs, it would be helpful if you could share a screenshot or screen recording of the issue.

Hello @Nivedhya Vikram

Thank you for your comment.

Please find a GIF attached. (I couldn`t upload a video...)

It does not work for me in incognito mode either – neither on Firefox nor on Chrome...

Hi @Ladina G ,

Thank you for sharing the video GIF. If the list is already sorted by creation date with the newest cards first, executing the sort command won't change the order. To check if the sorting is working, try adding a new card to the list and then sort it again to see if the newly created card appears at the top. Additionally, try sorting by "date created (oldest first)" to verify if the sorting order changes. Let me know how it goes.

Hi @Nivedhya Vikram

Unfortunately, nothing happens. (see new GIF)
Even though the message “List sorted successfully” appears.

But here's something interesting: if I change something in the map shown in the GIF, for example, remove the cover image, it is moved to the end.

So it is sorted exactly as I last specified in the sorting (creation date: newest first).

Thank you for your help and sorry for the inconvenience.
