When an email is sent from Trello through a Butler automation, it automatically adds me as a member to the card (even though I have not asked for this, I did create the automation).
This is the automation for example:
when a card is moved into list "Dispatched" by anyone, move the card to the top of the list, post comment "@reply Order ({%card.name%}) has now been dispatched. Thank you for your order and we look forward to working with you again in the future.", and remove all the members from the card
Once it has done this, the Sendboard Bot, adds myself back to the card.
I have solved this by adding this automation as a separate rule - obviously replacing the ( ) content with the unique usernames and list names.
"when @(user) is added to a card in list "(ListName)" by @sendboardbot(XXXX), remove all the members from the card"
Hi Nic. Mark from SendBoard here. We do understand that sometimes you might not want to be added to a card after sending an automated reply. So we've started planning some additional flags you can add when you kick off the automation. e.g. #dontaddmetocard
But your idea to add a second automation rule to remove yourself is a smart idea for the time being :)
