I'm trying to find a solution to help me use both Outlook and Trello interchangeably.

I'd like to be able to create a task in Outlook that generates a Trello card (which I can do with power automate). I'd also like any changes I make to my Outlook tasks to be reflected in the Trello Card (which I can't do).

The same applies vice versa. For example, anytime I make changes to my Trello card I'd like this reflected in my Outlook tasks.

Does anyone know how I can achieve this??

Hi Simon! Welcome to the community! :)

I'm Felipe, nice to meet you.

There is a Trello add-in for Outlook that you may be interested in looking into, here's a link with some more information on this - https://blog.trello.com/trello-add-in-for-outlook

However, I'm not sure it'll be entirely possible to do exactly what you're looking for with this, for creating cards via email, this is functionality that's available in Trello itself, you can create an email address for a board, and then any emails you send to that address will be turned to cards on that board. Here's a link with some more information on this - https://support.atlassian.com/trello/docs/creating-cards-by-email/

With that said, as it seems you're looking for a tool with a specific trigger, this feature isn’t available natively within Trello. I’ll pass your interest in this on to our team for consideration.

Additionally, there is a 3rd app that may fit you that you can integrate Trello and Outlook, the Zapier Power up, you can check their Outlook + Trello page of integrations.

While we're not able to endorse or provide support for third-party services (since we don’t work with them directly), we've heard good things about that one.

The Power-Ups that integrate with third-party services are only connectors between those services, and in order to take advantage of these connectors, you'll need to have an account for the other service as well.

Because many of these services are provided by separate companies, outside of Trello, any costs associated with their products are also separate.

All the best

Felipe
