When my free trial ends, will my added cards for each board be saved?

I am almost ending my free trial for trello. I have added more cards for each board, so I was wondering if it will be erased or kept.

Hi, Laura! Your cards will not be deleted when your trial ends. You won't be able to use paid features anymore, such as advanced checklists, views, or custom fields, but you'll still be able to view and edit your boards and cards.

In this situation, if you were to upgrade to the premium version would the advanced checklists return to the board? Or is there a way to make them return?
