Yesterday, I started receiving messages from a mysterious email address, xxxxxx-noreply@trellobutler.com. They contain no actionable information and the Go to Trello link simply opens a new Trello tab, not a task or notification. I am hesitant to follow the unsubscribe link because I want to get the notifications from cards I am watching and when people @ me.
Hey @G.W. Swicord !
If you're getting emails from the @trellobutler.com domain, those are usually automations set up by a user that's sending you messages. You can safely click on the "Click here to unsubscribe" link at the bottom of those emails to stop them. It won't affect the notifications you get from cards you're watching or when people @mention you.
It might also be a good idea to reach out to whoever set up that automation (if you know who it is) or check if maybe you set it up yourself. Then you can deactivate or tweak that automation rule to stop those messages.
Cheers!

I am having the same issue except there is NOT an unsubscribe button at the bottom of the email.
I have turned the Trello email notifications to NEVER.
And the owner of the board is no longer with the company so there is no way to get him to turn off.
Please advise.

Hi, @Tim Meeks !
Are the messages you're receiving from @trellobutler.com also? This question was specifically about Automation messages, which all come from this address.
If you can confirm it, would you mind posting a screenshot with the email for us to verify?
Thanks!
