recurrent tasks

Hi, how do you solve a need to have recurrent tasks without manual creation as there is not a possibility to reapeat it as default? I have two solutions - both via butler automation. First is to move due date of relevent number of weeks on the date of original due date (so I recycle the original all the time) and second is that I create a new task from template and move the old task... Is there any other way? How do you proceed?
