I added the Repeat Cards Powerup and created a few weekly repeating cards. When I decided that the function wasn't going to work for my purposes, I uninstalled the Repeat Cards powerup and deleted the repeating cards.
Now, I keep getting new cards created every week for the cards that were set to repeat even though those cards are completely deleted and the Powerup is no longer installed.
I tried reinstalling the Powerup to see if I could find the setting on the auto-created cards but it wasn't present.
Any idea on how to stop the ghost cards from creating new copies every week?
Hi @[deleted] - That sounds very odd, it's expected that when you remove the Power-Up it should no longer repeat your cards.
As a test could you try reinstalling the Power-Up, then click on the Power-Up in the menu and check to see if any cards are listed. If they are then can you try stopping by following the guide here: https://support.atlassian.com/trello/docs/using-the-card-repeater-power-up/#Stopping-a-Repeat
Let us know how you go.
Cheers,
Lam
Thank you for the guidance, Lam. As you suggested, I reinstalled the Card Repeater powerup, tried to unapply it to the repeating "zombie" cards, deleted the cards again, and uninstalled the Powerup and deleted all powerup related data, and waited until Friday when they were set to repopulate.
The zombie cards appeared again this morning.
There's only three cards that do this and they were all set to repeat on Friday at 8:00am which is when they keep resurrecting.

Hi @[deleted] - Thanks for trying some additional troubleshooting! There's one other thing I'd recommend checking, could you see if it's possible that you also have an automation set up to create those cards?
To do so please click on 'Automation' at the top of your board, then select 'Rules', a new window should pop up and can you click on 'Scheduled'? - This should allow you to view all rules you've created to run on a schedule. You may find that the rogue cards are being created through Automation instead.
