Searching "Terms" in cards - Defining "Term"

I am trying to find a different way to search a directory other than by searching a specific label on each person's profile. We have a section in the body that notes what languages people in our company speak so that we can have translator help when needed. Instead of creating labels for each, we saw that we could search a card by a "term" but there is no specific way to make something a "term" based on what we can see.

Is anyone able to define a "term" for me or have any type of help in terms of how we could search other than a label.
