I'm trying to use the email feature, where I can send an email directly to Trello and it will automatically create a new card based on the email. However, I have a need to do this from both my work and personal email accounts. Is there any way to add a secondary email account to my profile that would allow for this?
Hi @Pete Sneathen
For the email-to-board feature, you can send from any email account. The address for the board you want to send to stays the same. So I you could send emails from both your personal and work email clients and use the same board address.
Are you using the new version of Trello with the Inbox? There is the ability to send an email to the Inbox as well and the address for the Inbox is inbox@app.trello.com
and as long as you send it from the email address associated with your Trello account that works.
But if you want to send from a different email address, you can use the "unique email address" for your inbox.
This is from the support page:
Use your Inbox’s unique email address if you want to create a card from a different email address than the one used for your Atlassian account. For example, if your Atlassian account uses your personal email, and you want to create a card from your work email address.
To find the unique email address for your Inbox:
Open any Trello board
Select Inbox from the navigation bar at the bottom of the screen
- Choose More options
- Select the Inbox menu (...) then Add from email
- Copy the address from Send from any email address
Cheers,
Beth

Yes, you can create cards from multiple different email accounts as long as you use the unique email address for Trello. This page explains how to generate that unique id https://support.atlassian.com/trello/docs/creating-cards-by-email/
