The new layout update is terrible! GO BACK TO THE ORIGINAL LAYOUT!!!!!

Why is there a need to change the layout? Navigation is terrible, and so is the display.

Please return to the original layout, or at least include an option where we can choose to use the previous layout.

I'm seriously considering looking for another tool, as it's impossible to work efficiently.

Layout changes can feel really disruptive, especially when you're used to a setup that works for you. It's totally normal to feel frustrated when something familiar suddenly changes.

That said, sometimes what helps the most is turning that frustration into specific feedback — not just for you, but for everyone else who's feeling the same. If you can list what exactly is making your workflow harder, it’ll give the Trello team something concrete to act on.

For example:

• Is the navigation slower or less intuitive now?
• Are buttons or actions harder to find?
• Does the layout feel cluttered or less readable?
• Is there wasted space or too much clicking involved?

These kinds of details really help product teams understand where the pain points are, especially when design updates affect real-world use.

I agree with @Felipe Bona and I will share why I think this and I hope someone from Trello team can see this as I cannot send feedback direct, since I don't have the pro version.

The old feedback was vertical and when I open it, my eyes immediately focused on the top:

- Who's responsible

- Description

- Labels

I didn't have to look at the comments, if there weren't any, which for many cards, there aren't.

Now when I open a card it's horizontal and everything is laid in front of me. My eyes cannot focus, I go shifting from left to right and there's this huge empty space for comments that like I said before, it's mostly empty. Everything feels more cluttered and I get a headache trying to find the information I need. I honestly also cannot stand this design and I wonder why there isn't at least a switch to go back to the old one.

If I wasn't using Trello as a team member on a project I am hired on, I would have switched to something else by this point.

I hope the Trello team at least provides an option to switch to the old design.

Naturally, most of the human beings resist the change which is fine. Some of the users might also be feeling same as you. I am sure your feedback will be welcomed ty Atlassain. It is worth sharing your feedback in the ticket as already mentioned by @Sal .

Oh, and by the way, you can totally share your thoughts directly with our product and design teams right within Trello! They're always keeping an eye on the feedback, so I'm sure they'd love to hear what you have to say for future updates. You can do that by selecting the bullhorn icon at the top right of the page or while the card is open :)
