Trello Cards Optimizer markdown not working in titles

I downloaded the Trello Cards Optimizer and I've been bolding my card titles for some time, but I recently noticed that the card titles are no longer displaying in bold. When I type **This Is My Card Title** instead of displaying This is My Card Title, it displays  **This Is My Card Title**. Anyone else having this problem? Suggestions?

The service/ Chrome extension is switched off since some days , also the homepage (trellocards.com) is offline .

there is no alternative at the moment

Yes, I'm noticing the same thing. If you look here, you'll see many other people are also experiencing the same issue.  :(
