My trello board cards show the date the card was created in purple for every card. I cannot figure out what feature this is or how to turn it off. I'm the only one on my team that has this feature, and I would like to turn it off. I've tried all the settings I can think of and it seems to be some kind of glitch. Has anyone experienced this or know how to turn it off short of deleting my account and re-creating?
Hey @Alanna Haggard !
It sounds like the date showing up in purple might be coming from a Power-Up or a browser extension. Here's what you can try to narrow it down:
Check Power-Ups: Temporarily deactivate any Power-Ups you have on your board to see if the date disappears. You can do this by going to the Power-Ups menu on your board and turning them off one by one, then refreshing the page.
Try Incognito Mode: Open your Trello board in an incognito or private browsing window. This usually disables extensions, so if the purple date isn't there, it might be an extension causing it.
Use a Different Browser: If incognito mode doesn't help, try accessing your board from a different browser to see if the issue persists.
Let me know if any of these steps work for you! If not, we can dig a little deeper.
Hi Renato,
Thank you so much for responding to my question. I was working with Trello support yesterday, and disabled all the power ups and apps and didn't have any luck. Incognito mode did fix the problem, but I didn't receive any further suggestions from them after that.
At your suggestion, I checked my browser extensions and had something called Trello All-in-one (Truello) enabled, once I disabled that extension it fixed the problem!! Thank you so much for your suggestion, I didn't even know this extension existed. This has been causing an issue for over 2 years and I have spent many hours trying to resolve it on my own. So thank you!
Cheers!
