Trello error: Request could not be fulfilled. Too many checklists in cards load.

I set up  a rule and it suddenly stopped working..  When I add a new card in the PO INBOX, the TAGS/PRODUCTION Checklists stopped working

 I went into the log of the command and found this

 Running command on board PRODUCTION:

Trello error: Request could not be fulfilled. Too many checklists in cards load.

The command finished running.

Total operations: 1

This is the same rule that has been running for a long time, why this error now, I didn't make any changes.

I´m facing the same issue like you.
Rules were working perfectly since years, now they suddently stopped working and giving out this error.

I´ve tried multiple work-arounds.
It seems that currently no automation (Rule or Card Button) can add any checklist to the card.

Who can we contact so this can be fixed?
I´m (again) looking at Trello competitors to avoid such hassle in future.

OK so the workaround is, that I purge cards into another board.

Because the current limit on checklists per board seems to be 5000.
I had more than 1000 cards each with 5 checklist.

Now the automations are working again.

I ended up deleting as many cards as possible.  Deleted the entire Archive as well and that got it to work
