Trello -> Slack Notifications

Hello,

We're trying to figure out if its possible to dinamically allocate a slack member's personal channel ID for a the same trello member asigned to a card.

I know if we type the personal message channel id under 'slack channel' we can send messages from trello to a specific Slack member.

We're wondering if theres a way for trello figure out and allocate the slack channel for the assigned member automatically. Or if we need to know before hand which member will be asigned based on a naming convention or something else and then have that trigger the notification through an automation that already has their slack personal channel id assigned

Hi there! You would need to enter the personal message channel ID as you are now, as there is no direct mapping between Trello usernames and Slack channels or DMs.
